Data Privacy Day is being celebrated on the 28th January.
To quote Wikipedia: "Data Privacy Day is an international holiday that occurs every January. The purpose of Data Privacy Day is to raise awareness and promote data privacy education. It is currently 'celebrated' in the United States, Canada, and 27 European countries."

This prompted us to discuss the issues pertaining to personal privacy with David Taylor and Francis Cronje
Well - the Mayans can afford a bug in their calendar spplication; but the Pubcast still has to deliver the annual Information Security review. Karel Rode and David Taylor came into the Pubcast offices to discuss.
Those that follow the Information Security industry in South Africa will be aware of Craig Rosewarne's work with ISGAfrica, and more recently with Wolfpack. These include his recent efforts with SANS and the release of a new Information Ssecurity Magazine.

The 99th Episode of the Pubcast hailed in some changes: Brendan Kotze hosted his first episode, and the team chose to release two podcasts at once: Brendan seperately interviewed both ISC2 (Simphiwe Mayisela) and ISACA (Tichoana Zororo) on the relevance of security credentials.
