The Information Security User Group is organising a training session on the implementation and operations of a security CERT. Karel Rode briefly discussed these plans with Helaine Legatt, after entertaining Helaine and Tony with a tongue-twister. Quite a to-do!


South Africa has flirted for some time with the notion of a national CERT, but it has not yet materialized. Karel Rode and the ISG are staying abreast of developments, and attempting to aid the initiative by providing training on the subject, importing international experts on the topic to do so.

Helaine discussed the topic with Karel at the Chetty Law offices. Karel was in a particularly good mood and started the discussion by demonstrating his tongue-twisting capabilities.
