In This Episode we interview Lee Bristow from Securedata about the potential of moving security into the cloud.

E-Mail, corporate internet and intranet as well as business partner extranets are all points of corporate presence that contain information of a potentially sensitive nature. These business channels are exposed to consumers of this information through a variety of channels. As such information is potentially at risk. The data crosses many boundaries and as such requires security at all junctions. It makes real sense to perform security functions in the cloud. Securedata is in the process of developing enterprise grade cloud security product and process. Lee discusses the viability of outsourcing scanning to the cloud.
