On the official Fire-Eye website, they claim that "the Fire-Eye Malware Protection System fills the security holes left wide open by next-generation firewalls, IPS, gateways, and AV."

Ray Kafity, the Fire-Eye Regional Sales Director for Middle East and Afica was at the 2012 ITWeb Securiy Summit to introduce the technology, and came into the Pubcast booth to discuss it.
